OMG!!!!!! an update

So, yeh, it's been a while ne? Anywho, i took quite a break from FF at the end of last year, i'd been playing constantly for so long it just got the better of me heh. So yeh, i was pretty non-existent in ol' FF land for 4-5 months, but since being back... woooo things have picked up.

After getting DRG to 68 (slow going i know) i took SAM to 75 FINALLY. Seriously, that took so long it was embarrassing. Also, i've actually put some effort in (not much mind you) on COR and reached 34 with it, almost 35 :o I'm still playing catch up to Miry (naturally) but for me to play a support job even this far is a miracle in itself.

Added to this you have the fact that i'm back in to endgame now, though it's left me with near enough NO free time. I'm cramming 2 sea runs, 2 sky runs and a dynamis run into monday-friday and having a great time, but may take the odd day off to work on a job or something. Will try and keep this place updated on whatever i receive for my efforts ^^.

And in finishing... I finally have my first Dynamis piece! It sucks balls, but hey, i got sick of never getting a drop lol. Warrior's Lorica is now mine! just no use for it XD.

Yup, it's taken long enough but FINALLY CoP has been finished ^^. Thanks so much to everyone from Strife that helped me through these final missions. It's taken me a LONG time to reach this point (4-5 years lol) but it was worth it just to see the greatest battle field known to man. Let's see what adventure now await me in Sea ^^.

Along with that, we've been building steam on the endgame front in Strife :D. It's taken a while for us to get back up and running, but 9 manning Genbu on our first night back in sky, and taking down all the gods since (minus kirin for the time being) , looks like the shell's getting back on form.

Also completed all current WoTG missions (again). I'm really liking this expansion, the problem i had with ToAU was that all the mission were CS's... rather boring Cs's for most of the time aswell ><. Although still a lot of CS's with WoTG... they're actually REALLY GOOD... even made me respect an Elvaan :o

I can see the sea!

Ok, so it's been about 2 weeks since my last proper update, but now i have Photoshop reinstalled i can start getting some screenshots sorted for the blog ^^. Only a quick entry here though, but oh well ^^

So anywho, I spent a little bit of time in Sea recently, helping Rifu and Milie (though Rifu was controlling her for quite a bit) farm some organs. I really like this area, minus all the certain death and all :D

A day or so later, we went back to take on some UFO's... it wasn't pretty @_@. It would appear PLD's can't generate enough damage to keep it down, so we were effectively fighting a losing battle from the start. Bane and Souel tagged along for this, and it was fun, just a shame about all the death D:

Scitalis... Taste the dirt

Ok, so it's taken me a while to get the new post up, but that's mostly because I like to have something at least remotely worth posting about ^^. So anyway, moving on...

DRG is on a break after hitting lvl 60. I promised myself I'd return to SAM and that's precisely what I've done ^^. I've only hit 70 so far, but i'm hoping to be 72 soon for my new Great Katana :D. Can't afford a Hagun so a Shinsoku will do ^^.

I've spent quite a lot of time Campaigning as of late aswell, and was considerably surprised when I happaned upon one of the freelance mercenaries that pop up to help from time to time. I'm enjoying Campaign as, aside from anything else... it's some very easy exp when nobody want to give you a party ; ;.

Finally, Miryoku was on a trip from Rolanberry [S] to Bastok [S] and just so happened to trip over Scitalis, a wyvern NM in Grauberg [S]. She called out some peeps including myself to try and take it down since the drop goes for a nice chunk of change. One small problem though... THIS THING HITS LIKE A FREIGHT TRAIN. Added effect of 120+ damage is not fun, and of course, since being a PLD I don't even know what evasion is, so I hit the dirt as fast as possible, and then after some great tanking from Kallo and Miry, sadly thing went awry and everyone died D:. We raised and prepared to go again, only for me to have to afk ><.

When I got back, almost everyone had left after wiping again, but Kallo was calling some friends out to go at it again so I ran off to switch to WAR then headed back. We wiped AGAIN but managed to kill it with a DoT :D Sadly we didn't get the drop, but it was one of the more enjoyable ways i've found to die ^^

Dynamis, Whitemage and a Galka :o

Hey! Left it a while since my last post eh? ah well ^^ here I am!

Ok, so let's see what we have to round up this time...

For the past 2 years i've been playing on, effectively, a broken monitor, the red tube was bust so I haven't had full colour at all ><. I got a new (old) monitor yesterday from my dad though, so finally I can play properly :D I was so shocked to find out the Jaridah Peti wasn't yellow lol. Anywho, as a result, i've also seen how the last few screenshots i posted look on a normal screen, and i have to apologise for the awful quality. I'll post better quality ones from here on out!

So! Let's start with my recent Dynamis run, Dynamis-San d'Oria. This is only my third ever Dynamis run, and i'm happy to say my second win ^^. It lasted a looong time though... i really need to rethink thing's if i want to do Dynamis AND eat at a normal time lol. Anyway, we had a pretty good haul on AF drops. PLD, SMN, MNK, RDM and NIN gear dropped, plus a number of Relic weapons. I offer my congratulations to those who recieved their drops ^^. I've built up enough points now to start bidding aswell, so let's hope I can update in the near future about my newly acquired armour!

Moving on, I took a break from DRG this week to finally put an end to my 4 year battle with WHM. I hate the job, absolutely detest it, but it's one of those thing's that just has to be done, so with a hefty burning of my Anniversary Ring (only 1 charge left now ; ;) I finally powered my way through to 37. My final party last night was great, but i desperately wanted to punch two members. The THF who acted like she was god's gift to FF and complained continuously about SATA messing up, and the WHM who subbed PUP and didn't have Silena at lvl 35 -_-. Ah well, I persevered and i'll never have to touch that job again :D Though i will say it was worth it... PLD/WHM is hawt in campaign.

I did manage to pick up my Drachen finger Gauntlets however, so that now places me at 3/5 on DRG AF. Soloing Darkspark was fun! Looking forward to completing my fourth set of AF ^^. While on that subject... Congratulations to Arnor on recieving some Samurai AF, gimme a shout if you need help with the rest =).

I also did a spot of meriting (which i rarely ever do) because Miryoku asked me if i wanted in on her party with Arnor. Since i'm rarely one to ever turn down a friend, i grabbed my WAR and headed to Whitegate. The party was... buff @_@. Two of our members had Maat caps and some really nice gear. I felt kinda gimpy especially since, for the first few fights, I was getting outdamaged by the Taru WAR ; ; But i pulled it together, threw on my O.Hat and leveled the playing field. Thing's got a little hectic since we started recieving competition from a BRD puller, but we managed to keep a relatively steady stream of exp running and no deaths, so no complaints here ^^. Let's do it again guys!

Finally, I caved in and made a mule. I'm just struggling for space so much these days, i needed the extra -_-. I'm building up gil slowly on it aswell, but hopefully if i don't touch it for a while i should get a nice payout when i need it ^^.
